What was your journey like to get where you are?
I started my blockchain journey back in 2016 when I was looking for an exchange to trade in traditional assets, as I was a hedge fund trader for family offices in the MENA and Indian Subcontinent. It was during this time I was avidly looking for an exchange that could help me create a diverse portfolio of assets. None of the exchanges in the market was providing me with the service and benefits I wanted, so I set out to create the Digital Financial Exchange, a financial platform that bridged the gap between traditional and digital assets.
In a simpler phrase, what is your company exactly doing?
Digital Finance Exchange (DIFX) is a fully-insured centralized cross-asset trading platform that is bridging the gap between traditional and digital assets. With DIFX, users are able to dabble in both assets and grow a diverse portfolio.
What about Metaverse are you most excited for in the future?
The overall utility to be honest. Granted we are still in a stage where we don’t know how things can be implemented, but I think the future of the Metaverse is one to look out for. How exactly they will be implementing it in regular life and the work culture will be surely interesting.
Why should we be paying attention to the Metaverse?
I think with the help of blockchain, the Metaverse is something that will grow into its own economy.
