With 40+ years of proven senior-level IT and management expertise, Mr. Michael Eckstein is the visionary leader of AllCertified. His roles and responsibilities have ranged from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations. Past engagements have included the North American Software Executive for the Government of Israel, CEO for the PA Blue Shield technology subsidiary, and a member of the President Clinton Healthcare Task Force. Mr. Eckstein is widely recognized as the visionary “Godfather of MLB Biomechanics.” In 2013 he started the company KinaTrax, which in 2015 worked with the Tampa Bay Rays to install the MLB’s first in-stadium 3D motion capture/biomechanics technology platform for in-game analysis and evaluation of the pitching kinetic chain.
What was your journey like to get where you are?
I’ve always been a sports guy, collecting trading cards and standing in line for autographs of my favorite players. Every collector, fan, and investor knows that a signed collectible is worth multiple times more than an unsigned piece. It was awesome when the NBA Top Shot NFT site was launched, but nowhere were these NFTs autographed – nothing differentiated them from simple video clips any fan could take at a game. There was an amazing business opportunity to create an NFT toolkit company. So I spent two days architecting the tech stack and workflow processes, filed my patent-pending USPTO application, and started to build the company.
In a simpler phrase, what is your company exactly doing?
AllCertified is a patent-pending NFT toolkit company, that enables athletes, artists, musicians, TV/movie celebrities, social media influencers, etc. to create and affix authenticated blockchain “Autograph Stickers” to NFT collectibles.
What about Metaverse are you most excited for in the future?
The Metaverse is a rich, robust digital cosmos where people, products, and places can exist in environments beyond the limitations of the physical world. What is possible, what can be done, and what can be explored are only limited by the imagination.
Why should we be paying attention to the Metaverse?
Millennials and GenZ are more digitally savvy than any previous generation. Their lifestyle experiences, how they vote, where they live, what they eat and wear, and what they collect — will all be influenced by their Metaverse experiences.
